Rachel
Founder/Researcher

Rachel founded the group in 2004 while attending Durham College. After years of interest in the paranormal and history she decided to create the Paranormal Seekers. Along with Jay and other past members they conducted they're first investigation at Parkwood Estate. 

Rachel has many responsibilities in the group which include historical research, traveling information, on-site evaluation before investigation and story writing. This benefits our findings by confirming what we are seeing/feeling. She is also our main night vision camera operator.

Rachel is very open-minded and has experienced many paranormal occurrences. After competing a diploma in Human Service Counselling, Rachel uses her skills to help clients who may be confused, anxious or worried. She is also the main email contact for The Paranormal Seekers.

Jay
Sensitive/Equipment Operator

Jay is a original member joining in 2004.  He has a psychic ability which most label as a 'Sensitive'. Those who are sensitive are more open to the paranormal than the average person, but have yet to fully open their abilities.

Jay operates various equipment such as a digital camera, EMF detector, audio enhancer and digital Thermometer.

Amanda
Medium/Web Designer

Amanda became a member in 2005 after reading a forum posting by the group online.  She has had various paranormal experiences since childhood but never really tried to develop her abilities till she joined the group. Amanda has abilities such as clairvoyance, claircognizance, precognition and channelling. Her first major investigation was at The Canadian Automotive Museum.

Amanda uses an audio recorder, updates the website, is an email contact and writes some of the stories.

Donny
Paranormal Investigator

Donny joined the group in 2005 after meeting the group through Amanda. His first investigation was at The Canadian Automotive Museum. He operates various equipment such as a digital camera, EMF Detector and the digital thermal thermometer. Also a co-driver.

Jeff
Infrared Camera Operator

Jeff is our infrared camera specialists who joined in 2006. An Infrared camera gives a visual representation of heat or cold. The camera senses infrared radiation and depicts what it senses as a visual colour image. Usually energy forms are associated with a change in temperature, either warmer or colder than the atmosphere. The infrared camera can sense these temperature differences and capture the results in an image that we can see with our own eyes. Jeff's first major investigation was at The Lindsay Academy Theatre.

Paula
Sound Equipment Operator

Paula joined our group in 2006 along with Jeff. She operates a parabolic sound enhancer on our investigations. This equipment amplifies sound so that we may catch some electronic voice phenomenon. Paula's first major investigation was at The Lindsay Academy Theatre.

Crystal
Medium

Crystal is our newest member joining November 2007.  Since childhood she has been able to communicate with the dead and is now a retired professional Medium. Crystal's abilities include clairvoyance, Claircognizance, clairoma, channelling and house blessings. Her first major investigation was at Fort Henry.

Ron
Medium

Ron is another new member joinging in November 2007. He has been practicing his gifts for about 18 years now. He had begun seeing and hearing things since he was a child. Ron is not only a medium but he also has the ability to talk to other peoples guides. He is also clairvoyant, clairaudient and can channel.

Ron began hunting the paranormal about the time he began practicing but never really went deep into the field until the summer of 2007. Ron's first investigation was Oshawa Ghost Road.
