We
got permission from the Canadian Automotive Museum in Oshawa to do an
investigation! This was Amanda and Donnys first overnight stay.
We got there at about 8pm and got our equipment ready. The Museum is
fairly large and two stories high. We were accompanied by Jack, Jordon,
Kim, her niece and her friend.
We
got the initial tour of the museum and took pictures of everywhere we
went. We were informed by Brenda that there was a particular ghost by
the name of Cameron who offered to be our guide for the evening. He
told us that the spirits of the museum were quite excited about our
visit and were getting ready for us. . As we entered the room, Brendas
face was brushed by the invisible hand of Cameron who said I had
a daughter just like you. He is described as 63 tall,
stocky, harmless. When we took a picture of her at the time there was
an orb that showed up beside her. Brenda believes he was a worker many
years ago. As we made our way around the upstairs level you could feel
a definite temperature change in the the far back room. Kim told us
that she always feels extremely uncomfortable in this room and does
not go alone. As you enter the room there is an uneasy feeling and goosebumps
arise. Brenda tells us that there is a hostile spirit with a chip on
his shoulder. We are told not to go anywhere alone because he may lock
us in.
Brenda
picked up on two names Ray and Elliot. There is a man who paces the
hallway on the first floor. He wears black pants and black boots. She
also heard the radio dial changing to a song but she couldnt quite
make it out. The man Ray is 33 or 34 years of age, not very educated
and smoked players tobacco unfiltered. Another spirit was a woman named
Belle from the 1920s and was quite in high society and was chauffeured
around in one of the cars. She is described as thin, wiry, young and
was considered a spinster in her time. She also had brown hair with
bangs which rolled under and wore a tight fitted long dress. Belle always
had one pleat on the right and wore laced boots. There was also a man
present who was mugged who was connected to the building. Another spirit
that Brenda picked up on was of a man who wears a long white apron and
walks in front and wipes his hands a lot from late 1920s or early
30s. Jack confirms that the apron man was from when the building
use to be a Drug Company.
In
the back room Brenda contacted another spirit named Billy who we found
was the daughter of Mr. McLaughlin. There was also a motorcycle in the
back room who she says belonged to a man who bailed out from World War
2. Brenda also picked up that Mrs. McLaughlin walked around in that
building about the same time she got her cancer. She also picked up
on a car that was owned by Sam McLaughlin which was confirmed by Jack.
Our
group decided to split up into two groups. One group was positioned
upstairs and one downstairs. The second floor team consisted of Amanda,
Barbie (niece) and her friend, Donny and Jay. We were equipped with
a flashlight, blanket, cameras, and an audio recorder. We set up and
turned on the recorder, all the lights were turned off. Donny and Jay
decided to leave and go downstairs to consult with the other team. While
they were gone, Amanda and Barbie both picked up on a spirit of a woman.
She was average height, her hair brown hair in an up-do, in her 20s,
dressed in earlier 1900s clothing. We kept getting an eerie feeling
from the back room, a man who was quite intimidating us. Barbie sensed
a man who was very saddened by the death of his wife, who felt somehow
it was his fault.
Later
in the night at around 1am both the groups gathered into one again on
the main level of the Museum. At this point one of our walkie-talkies
ran out of battery power and turned off. The one was left on in Rachels
lap. We were all talking when all of a sudden the walkie-talkie came
alive! Over the walkie-talkie a female childs voice rang out Cameron
at first we were unsure of what it said. Then again Cameron
and a third time Cameron. Listen to it now just click
here. We were shocked because there wasnt another walkie-talkie
and our whole group was together. We tried to rule out different explanations
for this. We questioned what child is up at 1am in the morning
in downtown Oshawa with a walkie-talkie to come on the frequency? Also
what are the chances that they would happen to call out the name of
our ghost guide for the night? Also our walkie-talkies are only
basic models that cannot pick-up long rang. It would have had to come
from the building itself.
Beside
the spot we had set-up there was a motorcycle on the wall. At one point
it started swinging on its own. Later that night Brenda started channeling
the spirit of a military man who was pacing the main floor.
As
we ventured together into the basement, Brenda and Amanda felt a heaviness
of energy walking down the stairs. Almost like their legs were weakened.
There was one room which Donny and Jay started to explore but as Brenda,
Rachel and Amanda decided to follow Brenda warned us to halt. She heard
the spirit of a man who said Oh, another blonde. She believes
this man was a hostile spirit who in the past may have raped women while
being employed in the location when it was something else. She said
that there were a lot of things that happened that no one knows about
and if Mr. McLaughlin would have found out he would have had a fit!
There was another storage room where Jay and Jordon go into where we
capture orbs flying by them on film.
We
also encountered a lady at the top of the stairs to the second level
who waved to us to come up the stairs. In total Brenda picked up on
1000 spirits in the Museum. At one point in the back of a car there
was a little boy and girl who said that we werent allowed to look
at them and then stuck their tongues out. Brenda says that they are
connected to the land and they were walking with us.
We
have more to share on this location but will be posting the rest at
a later time.
