Our Experience

This is a really eery place to visit! Why? ...Read on!!

Dundurn Castle is a very large structure. It was quite dark outside when we visited, so we decided to stay close to the lights. Brenda picked up on a few things, but our biggest concern was these men walking around by themselves, in and out of the bushes. It looked like they were all in some kind of trance. They moved fast, no one was together in pairs...extremely odd!

We intend to return at some point, but this time we are going to get permission from the museum for a private tour after hours...we still don't know to this day why all these men were roaming the area. They didn't appear to be security or anyone of importance. So heads up folks!! If you're going there after hours please be aware that if this isn't a normal thing, perhaps these are spirits who didn't want us around. We think they were just weird guys, doing god knows what!!

Things were becoming concerning, so we decided it was time to head back to the hotel. We got ready for a good nights sleep and decided to watch the television show "Most Haunted" hahaha! How fitting!

People say you can hear voices, sighs, singing from some of the rooms, candles being blown out by the unexplained, and objects moving around on their own.
